Dreams for 2006

     From Scott Green's article, "2006: The Year of Inspiration"

1. Fill the church with Inspirational Teaching: Including Open House Sundays for outreach and a new BT leaders’ boundaries training course.
2. Commit Every Member to Works of Service (Ephesians 4)-in church services, in committees, and in Bible Talks.
3. Simplify and Amplify Our Financial Sacrifice
   1. Our weekly dollars include some for HOPE, China, & WA missions
   2. A fund-raiser for HOPE, getting non-member help
   3. Just one "special contribution," based on unanticipated blessing and special needs, in October.
4. Motivation: By Faith, Just Do My Part - God always does the rest
5. Practice, not just preach the Purpose-Driven Fellowship in small groups; we will need at least 10 new BT leaders to rise up in 2006!

1. Long term, to have enough Bible Talks-doorways to the kingdom-so that a person can drive just 5 minutes to one in the metro area.
2. New Citizen Ministry, in both Bellevue and in Seattle by Feb 1. These workplace Bible Talks tap into career-based fraternities of relationship.
3. Pray for every BT to bear evangelistic fruit this year! (We have about 75)
4. Build more Washington churches - starting with Bellingham in 2007, to have every major WA metro area planted by 2010.
5. For each Bible Talk: Remember the Poor and let your light shine
6. Pray and work for a renewed and Inspired High School Ministry under Alex and Danielle’s dedicated leadership.
7. An SCC campus ministry with over 100 students.
